Sooo, open beta in, what, forty minutes? Awesome. (Although now I will no longer feel all cool and exclusive for having a journal here. Hahaha.)

Today has been made of lying on my bed feeling exhausted and not writing my essay on Claudius. Even though Claudius is easily my favourite emperor, thanks to Derek Jacobi and Robert Graves. (Because I, Claudius is totally a historically accurate documentary. Shut up.) I did, however, manage to book an appointment at a clinic next week for a whole new round of blood tests, scans, etc. Mostly focusing on fertility issues this time round, since... well, I'm nearly thirty, I have messed-up hormones, it's been an issue that's been hovering around in my head for a while, and... I at least just want to know if things are working properly, you know?

... so, yeah, needles. Man, I love needles. And when I say "love", I mean "violently hate and fear". I'm kind of proud of actually being brave enough to do it, though. Look at me, being a grown-up.

(Heh, I just got an email telling me my (fake) paid Dreamwidth account has expired. Ohnoes! I'll have to make do with only six icons for the next.... half an hour. XD)
