revolutions: A row of pretty paper journals. (notebooks)

1. Look how pretty my layout is! [personal profile] boo wins at journal design, clearly. (I really need to start figuring out this whole Core2 thing. It'd be nice to be able to make my own layouts, or even tweak them a little.)

2. So I'm, like, moderating a community with actual members, and posting in it, and running a contest and everything. I think Dreamwidth has turned me into an internet extrovert. Also, the phrase "turned me into an internet extrovert" is probably really difficult to say.

3. I'm going to Stratford-upon-Avon for my birthday (thirtieth) (next month) and seeing TWO performances by the Royal Shakespeare Company. This fills me with so much lit-geek joy, I can't tell you. (As You Like It and The Winter's Tale, in case anybody wondered.)

4. I spent nearly all of today sleeping. I shouldn't have, with papers due by Friday morning and all, but I couldn't seem to wake myself up. Stupid CFIDS. At least it makes a change from not being able to sleep?...

5. And at least I've managed to start the essay on the Romans?... No, I'm about halfway through it now, actually. Going to work at it for another hour and then crawl into my bed.

Lovely layout! And ooh, I'm so envious of your going to Stratford-upon-Avon. When I lived in Ontario, I used to go to the Shakespeare Festival in Canada's Stratford every summer I could manage it.

Its a pretty layout! I was going to use it too, but didn't like the blue and I could change the colours myself, but meh. lol I really want to figure out the core 2 as well. Its more a "Finding time" thing than anything I think. I have a 2000 word essay due tommorow and I havent started it! :D

Ooh, Shakespearean plays. Lovely! And congratulations on getting some activity in your community. I'm experiencing something similar with the one Richard and I co-moderate. There are people! Having intelligent discussions! And it makes me rather happy. ^^

Layout is pretty and easy to read. Yay. Also, yay community - I passed over it because I was worried about what it would contain/what the mood would be, but if you're running it and it's active, I will have to reconsider.

I am going to see Waiting for Godot. It's not exactly the same as the RSC, but I do empathise a little on geeky glee.

I've found sometimes that instead of post-exertional malaise, I get post-exertional sleeping-a-lot, which is much nicer to deal with. Experimentation has shown that I do actually need all that sleep, it's not at all like depressive sleeping-too-much (hypersomnia).

Go you on the essay. I have yet to find out the name of the roman villa. I was going to ask, but got distracted by the studying housemate offering a shared viewing of Stephen Fry/Hugh Laurie Jeeves and Wooster. I will try to ask today.

Y-you have no idea how jealous I am of you right now. How awesome is that!

Haha, I have already geeked out with you over layout glee. Yours remains astonishingly pretty! And, wow, I'm so jealous over you getting to go to Stratford-upon-Avon. I'm going to try and make it to the Canadian Stratford festival with a few friends - I'm really hoping to watch Hamlet live one of these years.

I love the image at the top of your layout! It's so beautiful.

Ringing in your 30th birthday in Stratford-upon-Avon sounds excellent.
